That's why I went with the 1 pound Nikon D5300. Then a couple light weight primes. Maybe the 50mm f1.8. The older 18-105 does an excellent job with the D5300 ability to shoot good high ISO. Many serious hikers and climbers use the 5 series for this very reason. It comes with an excellent 18-140 kit lens. Do you need more than 24mm? Remember when the 24mm D3x was resolution king of the 35mm world.

Many good folks are enraptured with 36 mp . . . but few actually need them. I can make tack sharp 2' x 3' prints from 24mm. RARELY have I even gone larger.

Make your decision intellectually, not emotionally. The OMD-E would be a fantastic choice.
