D7100 and orchid macro
I've been pretty unhappy with my recent attempts at landscape photos, but hadn't tried any macro work in a while -- not since I got my D3100 two years ago. Michigan State University's Soil Sciences put on an orchid show this weekend, so I thought I'd do some experimenting. At first, I tried my Tamron 10-16mm F2.8 on the D7100 and a Nikon 55-200mm F4-5.6G on my D3100, but was very unhappy with the results. So put my Nikon 50mm F1.8D on and gave it a go. Any thoughts (there are more pics of this show in my gallery )?
