Quick & Dirty test of the A7 + kit lens @ 28/35/50/70mm maximum aperture

Such a week I've had since my A7 arrived. More damn snow here, bitter cold - and yesterday. as the snow began to melt, a flooded basement to be pumped out, vacuumed out etc.

Here are four test images shot out my front door. When I complete testing of my Leica M mount lenses (circa 1982) and selected Canon FD and screwmounts, and Nikon AiS, will post them, too.

Had planned to sell the kit lens and buy a 24-70 Zeiss - but first images have yet to persuade me that $900 more to get a one-strop advantage makes sense for a walk-around travel lens:

Each shot hand held at maximum aperture.

Comments? I think the lens is better than I expected.
