Re: Spending more on glass, less on body - thoughts?

we are adding lights to the house. but low light is an issue in our home. even with windows open iso on a rx100ii would be at 3200 most of the time. i just couldn't live w the rx100ii and it's auto 1/30 shutter speed. and the baby flails her arms to quick for the iso/ss combo not to get to noisy

Use bounce flash, a feature you'd have with 3N and a6000. But, pick up 35/1.8 OSS as any kit zoom that is 3.5-5.6 will take you to higher ISO quicker. And 1/30s is too slow for any movement, acceptable for static subjects. Hence, use bounce flash instead, anytime you can.

I leave 35/1.8 on NEX-6 practically all the time treating it like my kit lens. I don't have a single zoom lens on E-mount: 8mm/2.8, 20mm/2.8, 35mm/1.8, and 50-55mm (four of them, ranging from f/1.4 to f/1.7).
