Sunset with the Panasonic 14-42mm Mk2- do I need a short telephoto?
2

I was looking at getting rid of the kit lens that came with my GX7 and swapping that and my 45-200 for a 45-175. Decided however before I did that to give it a proper chance having previously disliked the old 14-42

Took some pics just before sunset on the south west edge of dartmoor. Have to say it did surprisingly well and it was nice to be able to be able to zoom rather than move or crop like I do with my panasonic 14mm.

At present I have pan 14mm, oly 45, pan 14-42mk2 and pan 45-200.

Looking to replace the 14-42 and the 45-200 with a new telephoto, buy a samyang fisheye and then get a long prime when one finally comes out. My only worry is the missing range from 14-45 if I do this.

Anyone else wander around without a short distance telephoto and just survive with prime?

Straight image just at sunset.

Playing with some HDR, annoying blurred edges and light stain on the bridge which can't get rid of in PP

Cadover bridge, missed editing out some of the green fringe on the top clouds

Slightly surreal shot, resisted the urge to put a horn on the pony.
