Fuji X20: Not a bad camera, but not brilliant either

I want to be very fair with this camera. I bought it on impulse because I was going to a concert and the conditions of entry forbade 'professional type' cameras. So, I went to the concert with a Fuji X20, which I had bought 3 hours before. Pretty dumb. Long story short. I have a X100s, so I knew the menus and the controls were similar.

I got some reasonable shots, but when the ISO went above 400, the shots were noisy. I know! I know! It's a point and shoot. What should I have expected? Well the way that people rave about the lack of noise coming from small sensors these days, I guess I expected better.

Don't get me wrong: I love the camera, the way it handles, AF, lens quality, etc., but I wish that sensors were better. I will keep it though, as it has a place in my kit
