What would you call a FF Pentax?

At first they were labeling their cameras with a "D" as in digital (*istD) but then dropped the D because they were all digital and reintroduced the "K" to recognize the K-mount.

On the lenses the "F" originally meant auto-focus (which again became redundant as they were all AF), but the lenses for the APS sensors were labeled with a "D", equating "D" with APC sensors.  Of course there are the "DFA" lenses.

So "D" is redundant.  "F" could refer to AF or or use for original Full Frame..  "K" refers to the mount (as opposed to "Q" or "645").

So I end up with "KF".

Now is that KF2, KF02, KF-2, KF-02, ....;-)

Seriously, I'm thinking of F as a prefix. Don't want to confuse it with Nikon or Canon F1 but something close.

It's the singer not the song.
