DP3m for studio work?

While I love the results of my Sigma cameras, I don't think they're quick enough for a studio, nor do I think they flatter skin at all.  If the face of a model is front-and-center in your images, then I would either, prepare myself for a LOT of post-processing work to soften skin or use another camera.

While you can say it's better to remove detail than try to bring it out where it doesn't exist to begin with, when it comes to studio head shots, and the like, speed is of the essence. Merrills are not speedy.
