Not sure what you point is. The Sony Zeiss E 16-70mm is sharper than the Fuji 18-55mm according to the new ephotozine review, has the same size and significantly longer and wider range.

The 16-70mm is one of the most attractive standard zooms on the market.

I would be pretty surprised if the new Sony Zeiss FE 24-70mm would be anything less than that on FF.
