Chances of a 1" sensor super zoom camera
1

For a travel camera, especially if you are interested in safari, or wildlife in general, a super zoom camera is so appealing. We now have a choice ranging from the longest zoom Sony DSC-H400 offering 25-1550mm, and the fastest Panasonic 25-600mm/f2.8. They can all take decent photos and videos, and loaded with features. However, they are all handicapped by small sensor.

In the past few years, we have witnessed developments of ultra small FF cameras, and various more compact alternatives like Micro Four Thirds, and 1" sensor cameras.

I understand bigger sensors will require bigger and heavier zooms, but wouldn't it be nice to have a 1" sensor super zoom camera that could cover the range, admittedly in a  bigger body?
