Hexanon lenses on Nikon D7100 with help of fotodiox adapter
In brief, adapter for use of Hexanon lenses on Nikon bodies exists. I received it yesterday, and it is cheap, and it is not making any problems.
So those of You, who have tried, already now that physically it is possible to mount hexanon lenses on nikon body, but it was impossible to achieve proper focus on infinity. With this adapter it is possible. I have found problems with wide open apertures (1.7,1.8, 2.8 ) on 40 and 50 mm Hexanons. Pictures are with some kind of glowing effect (abberations?) but other apertures work fine. I have tried following lenses 28 mm/3.5, 40mm/1.8, 50mm/1.7, 135 mm/3.5. What is also thrilling, is that there is focus confirmation in viewfinder when proper focus is achieved. So kudos to fotodiox.
You can find some resized examples in my album.
