Honestly, I was surprised at the quality of the Tiffen and Hoya. I expected the B&W to be good due to the cost of those filters. But that Rokinon, sheesh...

FWIW, I don't normally use a filter. Only when I think something like salt spray might contact the element.

I don't normally use a filter either other than a polarizer when shooting around water or anything with a sheen on it.  Sometimes for a sky, but not as much as I used to.  If you are shooting anything wet its just about a must have, that goes especially for fall colors.
