I don't use the touchscreen on my 5r and I often forget it's even a feature.  Sure, touch focus is nice in concept, but I just find it not being nicely executed.

1.  It is not accurate at focusing at the very point I want focused; rather it picks some other point that is nearby.  This is particularly a problem at wider apertures.  Perhaps I just have fat fingers, or the touchscreen is not accurate enough.

2. Quite often it will simply refuse to focus and take the photo, even in good light and far from minimum focus distance of the lens.

Once they improve the operation of it I think I will greatly appreciate it; but for now I don't see much loss without the touchscreen.
