Nissin Di866 mkII + T2I + Cactus V5 = Self Portraits ?
I have been a long time lurker, and have done a lot of reading. However it is possible that I didn't see this answered in a previous thread. I just recently acquired a Di866 mk II, and was wondering about using it for self portraits of my family and others.
If I use the di866 on the camera and hold a cactus v5 in my hand will it trigger the camera to take the picture with the speedlight?
I was told it would but then I read that you need a pair of triggers. Didn't seem like I would assuming the di866 can be fired with a trigger like the cactus. Later I do plan to upgrade to full frame, however for now I am going to stick to the crop.
I like taking pictures of my kids, indoor sports, outdoor sports, birds, and nature.
My gear if it matters is as follows:
Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8, Canon 50mm 1.8, Canon 70-300mm f/4-5.6 and the kit lens.
My next glass upgrade will probably be a 24-70mm Sigma/Tamron or Canon L Glass.
Thanks for the answers in advance!
