Costa Rica visit

My wife and I just returned from two weeks in the beautiful country of Costa Rica. Nicest people that we have ever encountered in our fairly extensive travel experience.

As we did several in-country flights I was not able to bring my DA*300 due to severe weight limitations. So I had to make do with the K5IIs and the DA 18-135 WR (and we did encounter rain, mist, and fog in the Arenal Volcano area and some high humidity at the Osa Peninsula) and had no problems with moisture.

The sun came out on our last day so we could see the volcano.

Leaf Cutter Ant holding us this really big stick (for him) by its mandibles.

Tropical plants are spectacular.

Bats hanging out during the day in this palm leaf.

White Face Monkey in Manual Antonio National Park (fully 24% of Costa Rica is National Parks)
