Why don't camera makers put their fast DSLR AF system into a mirrorless body?

The most common complaint abot mirrorless is the AF system is too slow yet these same companies often make a DSLR with fast AF.

Why don't they simply put the DSLR system into their mirrorless? Is it because it is bulky or for some other reason?

If its bulky aren't they able to miniaturise it?

Greg.
