I would think not you probably will get "colour crawl" but no colour moire actually it makes quatro foveon behave more like human eye which has b&w resolution about 4 times higher than colour one. Just for curiosity i took photo made B&W layer pasted in new image, scaled color image to 50% pasted as a new image scaled 200% all linear merged with B&W. Set opacity 50% for B&W and adjusted saturation.
