I, too, use and like the clearviewer on the nx300, because for birds, the screen is impossible to  compose on in the sunlight, and I am old and wear glasses (if you are not there, you don't understand, but you will...insert evil laugh here)

Two advantages the clearviewer has over the hoodman style loupe: I tried it and it was nice, but took up too much room in my camera bag (the clearviewer is tiny when folded) I like a small bag, that is why I chose the nx300 in the first place.

And, most amazingly,  you can reach in behind the viewer while you are using it, and use the touch screen without removing the clearviewer, or your eye from the clearviewer...how cool and useful is that?! I don't use the touchscreen often, but to be able to do that and touch a quick focus point, or change a quick setting,  while still looking through a clearviewer is a cool trick not found with any other "viewfinder" around.

I, too, would have been very happy if Samsung had made a hot shoe EVF like the nx100 for the nx300 (sad about that) but find the clearviewer an amazingly helpful gadget.
