Large megapixel counts end up with worse quality images... more pixels crammed on the same sensor doesn't mean anything. The 16 megapixel sensor in Micro Four Thirds is directly comparable to every Sony A Mount camera up to and including the A900... You're not gaining anything from Sony unless you look at the A7R. You're not going to get better results unless you go with a full frame camera.
