Better than the Nikon 12-24

Whilst this lens is not perfect, i personally found it sharper than the Nikon.

Both the Nikon 10-24 and 12-24 were soft in the corners at 10 & 12mm, even at f8.

The Tokina on the other hand seems sharp.

The Tokina appears to be brighter, whilst the Nikon seems to have slightly better contrast, but its not a big deal. To me sharpness is far more important,

Build quality is excellent. The lens is slightly heavier than the Nikon counterpart.

There is hardly any advantage of 28mm vs 24mm
