E-5 Mk II?

The mutterings around seem to suggest that an E-7 may be a long time coming, like in never, maybe or when Hell freezes over.

BUT, what about an update to the E-5?

Canon does it - the EOS 5D is up to Mk III status, now.

How hard would it be for Olympus to release an E-5 Mk II using the 16MP sensor and the TruePic VII processor?

The start-up costs might not be as high - the moulds etc are already there and amortised completely by now? Although the production line may need to be restarted, thus adding to the cost.

I had decided to continue to use my E-3 until such time that the E-7 was released, but I'd quite happily buy an E-5 Mk II, should it come to be.

How many other Oly shooters would be willing to invest in the E-5 Mk II?

How do we convince Olympus that this course of action might have legs (financially, that is)?
