K5IIs vs K5

I have both now. Just my feeling, wish can help a little bit for others to decide if they want to switch:

*They are more similar than different. Switching is easy.

*If you shoot raw and sharpen, the IQ are similar (except really high ISO).

*AF are similar.

*External flash consistencies are similar. The ceiling bouncing tends to over-expose. If you adjust the setting to -1, then the direct flash will under-expose.

The differences:

#If you shoot JPG, IIs is sharper. IIs pictures look brighter (and a tiny bit sharper?) on the back of the camera (it's aJPG no matter you shoot raw or jpg).

#If you use really high ISO, like 3200, IIs is better, even you shoot raw. Because you need less sharpening (sharpening leads noise).  ISO 1600, I am not sure.  800 and lower, K5 pictures can be sharpened very well to match IIs.
