Ricoh GR: Better than I expected for macro
I took some pictures of some African violets using a "blown out white background" technique I read about. I used my Olympus E-PL2 and Olympus 60mm macro lens for most of the time.
Usually after I finish taking pictures, I'll take some pictures of the lighting setup and the like with the GR. This time I figured for the heck of it I'd try using the macro feature on the Ricoh GR... and it turned out pretty good.
While the focal length can be annoying in certain situations for blocking light, and it doesn't magnify nearly as much as the 60mm macro, the GR did much better than I expected.
EDIT: Accidentally posted the Olympus version with a white balance goof
