"Opal" is an award-winning musical based upon the diary of Opal Whiteley. It's an imaginative show, reflecting a remarkable diary by an imaginative 7 year old.
One of the fun things about shooting plays is doing so during dress rehearsal. Since there is no paying audience (usually just a few people there by special invitation) I get to photograph as much as I want, from wherever I want.
I've started using more 16:9 aspect ratio for full stage shots.
