Pentax K-01's "secret" TAv mode.

Hi folks,

TAv Mode allows for constant speed and aperture while the ISO changes to make a proper exposure.

I know that most of you K-01 users already know about the TAv on the K-01. However, this is just an info post for those that are not aware that the Pentax K-01 has a "secret" TAv mode. TAv mode is available on some other Pentax cameras by a selection of TAv on the Mode dial. There is no TAv selection on the Mode dial on the K-01. To get to the TAv mode with the K-01 you select M on the Mode dial and then set your ISO to Auto. Now you set your shutter speed and aperture and these will remain constant. The ISO floats and will adjust as necessary for proper exposure.

To set your speed and aperture in K-01's TAv mode you press the +/- button on the top. Pressing of the +/- button will alternate selections between the speed and the aperture and a little arrow will point to the selection of speed or aperture. You then adjust the edial to make the adjustment.
