As sensors get better and better the logic is to use smaller ones as they match the performance of earlier generation larger sensors.

In both product (new OM-D and SP ) there are step downs on IS issues and some video features... Well. its their strategy, time will show will it work or not.

Personally I liked the outlook of this new SP superzoom cam. It looks more serious than new OM-D.
