According to lensrental.com, The A7r cover glass was about 1.5mm thick, compared to 0.75mm for a Canon 5D II, and Leica M9 cover glass was about 0.8mm thick, M8 0.5mm thick

This should be the main reason cause some RF wide lens have corner/edge issues on A7R

How about A7 ? is it possible to replace the cover glass on A7 with a IR-absorbing cover glass for higher resolution and compatible with RF wide lens ?
