Hi Ben,

Olympus is trying to up its sales here , I almost fell over last night was flicking through tv channels and the shopping channel was flogging OMD EM-5 twin lens kits . Wait for it you get a small Samsonite suitcase with it as the bonus prize. It was better than watching a comedy show watching these guys trying to sell the camera."Look the screen on the back is just like your iphone you can touch it" )

Good news is that you might be able to pick up a 16MP model for the right price soon, there is going to be such a glut on the market. There are still some epl-3 here for around $250 with the 14-42lens.

cheers

Aaron

Hello Aaron,

Well seems, Olympus tries to collect the euro-zone countries cash nowadays! Anywehere else it goes cheaper than Euro prices.

It must be very entertaining to watch a "has no idea!" salesman , tries to sell its "thing" ... Maybe you should tease tham by such a conversation.

- hi..

- shopping channel, how could I help you?

- well... thanks I am just looking !

That would be a fair revenge for "touch screen" centered sales dudez I am getting agree with you. Camera & lens salesmen, should be more specialised.

Regards.

Ben

ps: seems like I will keep my interest more on lenses, instead of bodies in next 2 years. Seriously, noone does not offer higher than 16mpx (while my 1/2.5" Nokia´s cameras sensor offers 20 mpx   apart from joke, wish to see some more resolution.)
