S1 5-axis sensor IS versus SP100 in-lens IS

I do like the IS in my SH-50. It demonstrates that focussing precision and speed very much depend on the IS, particularly at the far end. To my knowledge, lens IS has not been used since the Minolta cameras had it.

My SZ-30MR trips me up with the video start/stop button being on top of the display button. On the SP100 these two are side by side - will that be enough to stop me from hitting the wrong one?

The gun sight is something I thought of but never got round to making.

I do hope that Olympus does NOT use the SP-570UZ firmware as a base to build on. There are too many features shutting each other out. I am worrying because the SP100 layout reminds me of my SP-570UZ - same design team?

There is no mention of HD720P video for the SP100. My laptop is too slow to render HD1080P, my TV only does HD720p, New Zealand TV has standardised on HD720p, and our broadband streaming stutters, stops and/or pixellates with HD1080P.

My SH-50 does 120 fps at HD720p - and I am using it. So why go back to VGA for 120 fps? Are they using up discontinued bits like they appear to be doing in the Stylus 1?
