Prime lenses shot in portrait for panoramas - Focal length question

I've used ultra wide lenses pretty extensively in the past but I no longer own one.

But I've grown really fond of using prime lenses shot vertically on a panning clamp but I don't always know which prime I should use until I fiddle around for awhile or until I get the images onto the computer to see what looks right.

So, I'm wondering for more popular prime lenses… 24, 28, 35, 50 and 85 what would be the respective wide angle focal lengths that would match its height (I hope that question makes sense). I'm sure there is some simple math but the thought is a little abstract for me.

Maybe if the question isn't clear… for the focal lengths listed above, when shot vertically, what is their ultra wide angle equivalent in field of view, purely from a vertical/height stand point.

Thanks!
