Two more nails in the DSLR coffin...what is left?

Why do people feel like the camera they use defines them or others?

"DSLR folks"

"Mirrorless guys"

What does that even mean?

I have all kinds of cameras. I use the one that is appropriate to the photograph. Sometimes, I even use one that is not just for fun.

I have a handheld 4x5 camera that I made with a Schneider 47mm lens. Does that make me a "Film guy"?

I just finished bleaching a Cyanotype contact print from Angkor Wat that I will try coffee toning this afternoon. Does that make me an "Alternative process guy"

I have $20,000+ in FF Nikon cameras, lenses, flashes. I am still interested in whether it will be viable in the future.

Try a Buddhist idea, "all things will pass, including the DSLR". Oh, wait, maybe that isn't right.

Why anyone would feel threatened by a discussion as to the possible future of a camera technology is beyond me.

To those who have contributed, thank you for some great ideas.
