Does it make sense to get EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 when I'll be getting EF-S 18-135mm or should i drop idea of getting kit?
Also, I do love that EF-S 17-55mm is F2.8 but is it wide enough?
Or should i consider options below?
- EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM
- EF-S 15-85mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM
I appreciate everyone's input.
Wide enough for what? I just bought a 70D and a Sigma 18-35 f1.8. I find that using this combination is equal to my IDs3 or 6D and the 24-70 f2.8 II. Both lenses provide remarkable acuity, but come in at very different price levels. For my money the Sigma 18-35 represents the best value overall. I have the Canon 17-40L and I find that the Sigma just blitzes it.
