Thanks Antal Rest assured, I've used 35mm, 6x4.5, 6x6, 6x7 and even Sinar 5"x4" in my career as a photographer, and later I taught digital imaging in an Art School when I crossed over to IT. I hope I'll have a reasonable chance of figuring out the right technique.

Seems like we have a very similar background. Except that I was teaching in a Fine Art College back in film years. I hope you didn't think that I concluded about your level of knowledge in photography. It was only a general statement about D800 and user compatibility.

Some further note of the D800; I have a D800 and a D4. The ratio of usage between the two worked out to some 75% to 25% to the advantage of the D800. The D800 is a very good tool for a wide range of work.
