Shutter Shock: My ep5 is bad. Would an em5 do better?

You just answered my question.

You used window lighting for your exposure. That accounts for such high EV.

My test shots were done using a (bright) kitchen fluorescent lighting. That accounts for the ISO difference between your shots and mine.

BTW, I shot with the E-M5 for 18 months, and loved it. But I find that the E-P5 is just as capable, with a few bonus features. It complements my E-M1 better as a backup camera.
