I like it, though I don't actually use it much at all. I think Viking recommends it as a good way to cut down on the time between getting focus and triggering the shutter
Actually touch to capture has more delay than pressing shutter button.
Not on my camera, NX300, nothing is faster than One Touch Shot.
do you really think that time to capture is slower when pressing shutter button than when touching the screen? How did you measure that?
You really want to get into detail on how time is measured? There are many ways to do it, but it's totally off topic here for me to go into a detailed rant. You can start a new thread and we can talk about that if you want.
Here's what I will say about One Touch Shot. One Touch Shot has the shortest possible AF time on the NX300. This may be matched equivalently by fully depressing the shutter button BEFORE focus is achieved. The camera will wait until it is focused to trigger the shutter. If you shoot the usual way (depressing the shutter button half way, and then fully after achieving focus) then you are slower by your reaction time, and being mere humans this can easily be enough time to lose the focus you had in between having been in focus and triggering the shutter.
Plus...
If you need to switch AF point by more button pressing, don't worry, take your time and I'll see you next time.
