Yes, I know. And how wrong that is.

The camera should, of course, close the lens to e.g. F2.8 when focussing, when you are not taking the image at F1.4. Everything else is just plain stupid.

NOTE: this might not be possible with older lenses. But with newer lenses it should be no problems.
