Does Olympus image stabilizing work with non-MFT lenses?

Hi, I have some nice lenses for my Nikon 300D. (Full-frame lenses)

Now I´m considering buying an Olympus, probably the OM-D E-M5.

I understand I can use Nikon lenses with an adapter.

But, does somebody know whether the OM-D´s (or a PEN´s) stabilizer works in this combination?

I guess the stabilizer would help most when using my longest lens.

That one has AF, too (with its own motor in a Sigma 100-300/4).

Would the AF work?

I would appreciate if someone knew and could tell me. Asking from shops I´ve got two different answers, both hesitating.
