The biggest thing I wish the G6 had is IBIS. It's tough to get in focus close up shots hand held in low light with non stabilized lenses. I would also like the live time feature from the OMD cameras for long exposure shots.

+1 to both those features.

Poor ISO at 800 though? My G3 is fine at ISO 800 (for me). Some recent examples at ISO 800 here and here and here and here.

G6 as an upgrade to the G3 appealed because of the better ergonomics, better evf, better lcd, bargain price (almost free after selling 14-140 lens!), remote camera app, timelapse, ability to move the focus point with your finger while looking through the evf (great feature!). (I like the G3 but moving the focus point with the small rear buttons while looking through the evf is much slower than on my A57 (dslr/slt).

P.S 250,000 shots in 6 months - wow! Lot's of timelapse stuff?

Your shots with the G3 at ISO 800 look very clean. I was thinking about shots I took with my 100-300 in very low light. The G3 shots I took were very grainy while the G6 shots were much cleaner. I did experiment with the time lapse feature, but I never took more than 200 shots at a time and only tried it a hand full of times. Most of my shutter count comes from HDR shots. I take a lot of 5 exposure brackets. I also do a lot of burst shots when I think camera shake might be an issue and hope that a few keepers come out. Come to think of it, I also let the camera run a few times with the intervalometer trying to get lightning shots as well. I took over 750,000 shots with my G3, so I figure there are a lot more shots left in my G6.
