Take the 6D and also the S100. You can always leave the big camera in your room, if you don't want to carry it. I usually carry my D 300s and a p&s camera in my pocket when I go somewhere photographic.

When you get to Ocho Rios in Jamaica definitely leave the DSLR in your room and just take the S 100. We went there and I never really felt safe. We were warned not to take any walking tours from people on the street. The crime rate there was very high. Your DSLR represents a lot of money to those people.

Good info to have, and that may be the biggest reason for my post.  I don't want to have anything happen to my 6D.

Make sure you have insurance on your equipment. I have a rider policy that cost me $ 58/yr for $ 5800 of coverage, even droppage.

Another good idea that I should look into... Thanks.
