Re: Panasonic G6

I upgraded from a G3 six months ago and have taken over 250,000 shots with my G6. I'm very pleased with the G6 and have no concerns about its durability. Image quality is much improved from the G3, as well as the viewfinder and grip. I thought ISO 800 was very poor on the G3 and it is quite acceptable on the G6, however I don't like the IQ above ISO 800 on the G6. The articulating lcd is very helpful, especially when shooting in portrait orientation at a low angle. The built in time lapse feature is nice, although I don't recommend using it too often as it can build up the shutter count in a hurry. The sweep panorama feature is ok, but it is hit or miss and the aperture and shutter cannot be controlled for sweep panoramas. The biggest thing I wish the G6 had is IBIS. It's tough to get in focus close up shots hand held in low light with non stabilized lenses. I would also like the live time feature from the OMD cameras for long exposure shots.
