Do they? You can't say that with any confidence. The only reason the SLR form factor is more popular is that SLR style cameras are what's available from most manufacturers. That says nothing about ergonomics or about pure customer preference. The pentaprism setup was a practical necessity that was carried over to mirror-less EVF cameras as a design convention, not because of any particular customer demand. Again, you're attempting to universalize your personal preference. Stop.
