NEX 7 - pulled the trigger; now what?
Ive spent a while looking for a new camera system - and up until a week ago I was pretty much convinced I would stick with M43; but yesterday I spotted a good deal on an NEX-7 body and pulled the purchase trigger. I expect to take delivery in two weeks time, I'm very excited!
I intend updating the firmware and I also need to invest in lenses. I am initially considering the Sig 30mm to get the ball rolling but after that I was wondering what other people thought.
A pancake for take-anywhere, go-anywhere use:
16mm vs 20mm
16-50mm which seems to be an obvious choice
I also need a macro for copy work / portraits and a good wide range zoom for travel use (though I am open to defaulting that responsibility to a compact / super zoom camera which would probably be a Sony to take advantage of system commonality (menu structure, flash system and even battery if possible)
Any thoughts on this?
