Finally, I think I now understand. I have an ISO-Less camera.

Did I get this right? I can shoot underexposed images to keep the shutter speed that I want and post-process any image. The result would be almost the same as when I go to a higher ISO ?

From RAW, yes.

I have done tests with 5-6 stop underexposure, and this works well.

Note: For ordinary scenes I use high ISO setting, so that the files look ok straight out of the camera, but for scenes with high dynamic range and bright highlights the low ISO/underexposure strategy works well.

Wow, that's amazing. Im going to check this out myself.

I had with my A77 slightly underexposed images and added +0.7EV,  which Im now going to revert, because I can get this back, anyway....
