HowTo? Stop DngConverter from complaining about 6d RAW files and missing Codec?
When I use DngConverter 8.3 on my Win-7-64 system to convert Canon 6d RAW files to .dng's, it complains with the message:
Canon RAW Codec found a new CR2 files that is not supported by the installed version. You can download the Canon RAW Coded update program from the link below.
On the Canon web-site, there isn't a 64-bit codec. Drat.
I did download and install the Microsoft Camera Codec Pack which was released in July, 2013. I rebooted, but I'm still getting the message.
I'm unclear if this is a warning message, or error message. DngConverter seems to work fine.
I've read related posts about missing 6d Codec, but they seem related to viewing with Windows Explorer.
