Komine-made lenses also seem more highly regarded. I bought a Komine-made 135/2.8. It's real soft at f2.8, almost unusable. It's pretty sharp at f4. I think that would be pretty much the same regardless of which camera it was on.

Most of the Vivitar lenses which won the annual competition to become labeled 'Series 1'  were actually designed and made by Komine. These can be identified by the serial number which starts with 28xxxx.
