Has anybody compared the NX300 to the FUJI X100S ?

Doesn't sound right; shooting raw on my NX300 I can activate the shutter immediately after a shot numerous times &/or go to the Fn menu to change settings at once. Shooting full manual, single af, replay disabled, with SanDisk Extreme 30MB/s class 10 card. This is an incredible improvement over my NX20.

It pains me to say it, but sounds like your NX300 is not working properly.

Actually, a lot of people report what Seph does, but my experience is like yours. I don't have any noticeable delay until I've filled the buffer (much sooner for RAW than jpeg) and even then I can change all settings, just can't shoot again until the buffer has cleared room for one more shot.

Now I have disabled the preview, the most annoying thing to me is : when you take a picture, the screen goes black, then displays again, but only a full screen picture. You have to wait a bit until icons, grid, focusing point, ... come back over it, allowing you to shoot again. And I've experienced this lag with every memory card I tried. The buffer emptying is another problem, and the higher the write speed of your card is, the quicker you can regain control. If you don't shoot burst, not too quickly, it's manageable.
