And how about using the WB bracketing setting? I was told that moving the value 4-5 steps to the right and 2-3 steps to the top might do the trick.
Am I the only one that doesn't like the colors of the 85 1.8 ?
As for the post about going wide or telephoto - I really love using 135 and above for portraits - the compression is crushing. The wide is on my list too, but maybe later.
I'm considering selling all my lens and investing in a good 2.8 zoom like 17-50 Sigma.
My other idea is to get an ultra wide lens like the Tokina 11-16, then sigma 30 1.4 or 35 1.4 and maybe sometime in the future a longer telephoto lens
I really like the colors on those sigmas
If color difference between lenses is a major concern, you can create different camera RAW profiles for each lens / body combination using something like the Color Checker Passport system from x-rite.
This will equalize the color response from all of your lenses to a known and accurate industry standard. No guesswork.
I do this because I shoot product and need color accuracy.
Once you own the CCPP system you can use it to profile any lenses you may acquire in the future also.
