The goal of VSCO is to give a certain look similar to films or slides. Velvia was a very saturated slide film, thus giving an unnatural look, but very specific.

Of course I can process pictures to be "true to life", with correct WB and all. But the fun of VSCO profiles is to give a specific look.

FYI, your original's color space is Adobe RGB, and you'd do better to reassign to sRGB before posting to the web as Adobe RGB colors look washed out on the web.

I re checked, the pictures are in sRGB profile.

first one is my re-do, second is your VSCO version.

Nice try. But it would have been polite if you asked for permission befor editing.
