The GX7 continues to impress me. I love the 20mm also. If you're inclined to get a zoom, the kit (14-42 II) is by far the best kit zoom I've ever had. I can't justify anything more expensive because it's just that good!

On another note - it's not my business, but I can't imagine sharing a camera with someone - my wife or anyone else. How does that work???

I've given it a couple of go's to answer this!

It actually works quite well with one camera.  We like the same stuff, but have a different 'eye', which creates quite a good conversation about the shot.  We also quite enjoy the iPhone camera, being simple and with us all the time etc.

On that note, my fondest camera was a little ixus ii way back when.  Fixed lens, super small, crappy screen, but really good photos and always in my pocket.
