Moiré correction in Bridge as opposed to PS

As I said I would.

This shows how much better moiré can be corrected in Raw images using Bridge first up.

Taken with the K-3 and DA* 16-50.

First, the offender as viewed in Bridge.

The mask

Moiré reduction of around 30 applied before import - not too bad.

The same amount applied after import into PS. Got rid of the colour only.

PhotoShop CC can apply Camera Raw Filters AFTER import, but as you can see, it is better - in the case of moiré at least - to apply the filter before. It won't completely mitigate the problem in all cases, but at least you'll have a fighting chance.

And yes, I know there is still moiré in other areas of the fabric.

Please feel free to comment.
